Being a police officer can be extremely rewarding. Play a vital role keeping London's communities safe. It's an exciting and diverse role, whether helping to keep the public safe on the streets or working behind the scenes delivering a range of specialist services to prevent criminal activity.
Police officers work in collaboration with other public service professionals, such as court officers, community groups and local businesses. You'll also be required to write reports, attend court hearings, conduct research and interview suspects.
As you progress in your career you might be responsible for preventing serious crimes and stopping dangerous criminal groups, such as organised crime syndicates. Alternatively, you might be working to dimimish anti-social behaviour, or you might be taking part in counter-terrorism activities.
Requirements: Age 18+, level 2 qualification in English Language at GCSE grade C and a Certificate of Knowledge in Policing (now funded by The Met.). For full details and to apply, please click the link below:
